Ian House
Creative Director:
Ian's first passion in life was visual art and he was drawing and painting from a very young age. This early passion for drawing has acted as the seed from which his graphic design skills where able grow and mature.
In his role as Creative Director, Ian brings Build One's clients over 10 years on the job experience as both a Graphic Designer and Creative Director, developing projects for the web and the printed page. Ian possess an advanced understanding of the processes involved in developing print and web-based projects, with Photoshop and Illustrator being among his strongest computer applications. Ian also posses a wealth of experience in developing Macromedia Flash based web sites and rich media using motion and audio content. In addition to solid visual design skills, Ian also has considerable knowledge in the areas of digital music production, and promotional copy-writing. More than a designer Ian considers himself a conceptual artist and a visual problem solver.
Prior to founding Build One Ian held the position of Creative Director with Vancouver's Constructive Media Inc. (CMI). As Creative Director Ian managed many time-sensitive web development projects for A-list Fortune500 clients; Microsoft Canada, Microsoft U.S., the St. Lucia Tourist Board, The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism, Sierra Wireless, Research In Motion (RIM), among others. Most of these projects would carry budgets ranging from $250,000 - 500,000, and have a life cycle spanning 6 months to a year.While managing the creative design requirements for these web portal projects, Ian was also responsible for meeting with clients, scheduling work, and managing milestones for the intermediate designers working under his lead.
When not in the office Ian can be found writing and producing original songs, singing, playing guitar and performing. Ian also enjoys doubles Beach Volleyball, and playing poker.

Jaime Weise
Techical Director:
From an early age Jaime could often be found tearing his ghetto-blaster and other household electronics apart and rebuilding them from scratch. It was this "If I can see it I can do it" attitude that led him into the world of computer programming.
In his role of Technical director Jaime offers Build One's clients an honest and realistic approach to planning and managing their web and application programming requirements. Jamie would rather under-promise and over-deliver, and is fully aware of the commitment required when handling large scale development milestones. Jaime is a self-trained .NET developer with over 6 years experience, and a wealth of knowledge gained by exhaustive study. Jamie has read over 50 books on web and application programming. Jamie's core competencies include many languages and protocols such as; Visual Basic .NET, Visual C# .NET, Actionscript, Visual C++ .NET, Database access using MSSQL, Remoting using .NET, XML, XSLT, Writing AddInns, Regular Expressions, Object Oriented Programming, Object Oriented Architectures and more.
Before founding Build One Jamie was employed by Mosaic Networks as a Lead Web Application Programmer. While with Mosaic Jaime worked on a number of high-level web applications involving multiple user types, content management, database access, and detailed reporting. The majority of the work created during his tenure with Mosaic was created in .NET
Jaime has lived and worked extensively in Japan and has a conversational level understanding of Japanese. When he is not in the office Jaime can be found playing volleyball, tweaking his computer systems, studying code, and hanging out with 'the boss', his 3-year old son Austin.

Dolphin Kasper
Client Relations:
During his childhood, Dolphin had the good furtune to be surounded by a community of people committed to self-expression, and interpersonal communication. It was this unique background that led Dolphin into a career focussed on public speaking, community development, youth advocacy, and stategic planning.
In charge of Build One's Client Relations space, Dolphin brings a personal commitment to clear comunication and in-depth analysis of each clients business goals. Dolphin has developed highly effective skills in the areas of asset mapping, action planning, and implimenting large-scale programs. These skills where honed over the past ten years, where he worked with several Non-Profit Community Development organizations.
Dolphin has the ability to quickly identify challenges, and invent custom-tailored business solutions which can be easily understood and implimented. Dolphin is focussed on exceeding client expecations and has a commitment to excellence in his work.
Dolphin has a love of music, outdoor recreation, and world travel. When not in the office Dolphin can be found playing competitive beach volleyball, playing guitar, and travelling the globe.
